About Granite & Phunk
Granite & Phunk began their audio assault on the dance music industry in 2003. TOOLROOM RECORDS scooped up the duo's first single, the anthemic "KNOCK U OVER", in 2004 and what followed was a slew of slammin' originals and remixes. 2007 was highlighted by remixes for such artists as Funkerman "Speed Up" ULTRA, Cedric Gervais ft Second Sun "Pills" ULTRA & Koolwah [a.k.a Mike Gray] "Fashion" TOOLROOM TRAX. Granite & Phunk original productions also came out on TOOLROOM RECORDS & SOUTHERN FRIED RECORDS. GAP production work is supported by the industries biggest names [Pete Tong, Fedde Le Grand, Mark Knight, Trophy Twins, Judge Jules, Sharam of Deep Dish, Paolo Mojo, Stonebridge, etc] and quirky sounds and song structures make them a much desired remix team. 2008 stands to be Granite & Phunk's biggest year to date. 1- wmc is gonna be in less than a month, where are u guys gonna be playin and are there any new releases planned for that week?

****We have some solid shows for WMC week. Tuesday @ Blue Martini, Wednesday @ Nikki Beach, Karu & Y, Friday @ Gryphon w/ Funkerman & Sunday @ Nocturnal for their closing party. No original releases are set to release for WMC but we do have some solid remix work debuting. A remix for Ronnie Maze ft Lisa Pure "Movin On", which has received great feedback from the likes of Kurd Maverick, should be heard plenty during the week. Come out to our shows and peep our new work!****

2-what is opm, who is part of it and what can we expect from it?

OPM is Alex Orue & myself [Phunk]. A couple of long haired dudes rockin some tunes together. Our first track "Sunglasses In The Club" has dominated clubs since last year. It will be released soon after WMC on O Recordings.****


3-which artists are you guys working with currently? i heard there are some new projects cooking with kaval what can u tell us about this?

Kaval is a great guy and we rock with him often. ;) Soon there will be music coming with us working with artists such as MC Flipside, Stephen Granville, Noir, David Sense & Ale Avila. ****
